Cabinet glass guide

Cabinet decorative glass order checklist for furniture buyers.

Cabinet glass orders often go wrong when orientation, pair matching and finished size are not clearly defined before production.

Cabinet decorative glass is frequently ordered in repeat sets, mirrored pairs or mixed dimensions. That means the RFQ should be more detailed than a simple style request. A clear checklist reduces quotation mistakes and helps the supply team prepare the correct labels and packing plan.

Confirm the finished panel size

Buyers should send final glass width and height instead of only cabinet opening size, unless the supplier is specifically asked to calculate the deduction. This is especially important for repeated programs with several sizes.

State whether panels are paired or mirrored

Some decorative patterns need to be mirrored for left and right cabinet doors. If that information is not provided, a batch can be produced with the wrong orientation even when the glass quality itself is good.

Include packing and identification details

  • Model number or pattern reference
  • Finished size per panel
  • Quantity per design or set
  • Pair orientation and crate mark request

Why this matters for import buyers

Cabinet programs often include many repeat panels for furniture factories or distributors. Clear size schedules and identification marks make unloading, sorting and installation much easier after the shipment arrives.
